Who will be ready to lead on day one?
Oct. 9th, 2008 10:39 pmJohn McCain keeps telling us that he will be, but those pesky liberal facts argue otherwise. In order to lead on day one, the new president will need his team to be selected and and brought up to speed before day one. Most presidential candidates have a transition team to help coordinate the transition of power from the old president to the new one and to help pick members of the new administration. John McCain has apparently not done much about picking a transition team yet.
"The Arizona Senator has instructed his team to not spend time on the transition effort, according to the source, both out of a desire to have complete focus on winning the election as well as a superstitious belief that the campaign shouldn't put the cart before the horse."
On the other hand, Barack Obama does have a transition team that is already working hard.

Yet one more reason to vote Obama. He will be ready to lead on day one.
