Saturday 10/4 - Canvassing in Salem NH
Oct. 4th, 2008 11:29 pmIt was another fine fall day in southern NH today. I drove up with
ruthling,
grr_plus1, and another friend. The leaves were further along than last time, but not near peak color yet.
The voters were further along too. My unscientific impression is that there were fewer undecideds than last time. "Not Home" is still ahead in the polls.
We talked with one person whose dad was switching from McCain to Obama as a result of the Biden/Palin debate.
There were many more volunteers in the Salem NH campaign center than there were two weeks ago. I've no idea how busy the McCain office's are in NH, but elsewhere there's talk that they're not busy at all.
