Oh for crying out loud.

What the Hell happened to the country that said, "Live Free or Die"?

During a discussion about the Patriot act My mother (a Neocon) asked me "Is fighting the Patriot Act worth getting killed by a terrorist?"

While I couldn't think of a decent response at the time, the answer is, Yes, our freedom is worth dying for.

Fortunately for us, we have elections. If we can just get some decent people to run, we just need a few elections.
