Tom Noe, an Ohio rare coin dealer and also a Bush-Cheney "Pioneer"*, is under investigation for mismanagement of a coin investment fund that was funded with $50 million of Ohio state money. 10 - 12 million dollars is currently believed to be missing. Noe has also contributed to the campaigns of prominent Ohio Republicans.
It's unclear whether Mr. Noe used some of the state's money to make contributions to Republican candidates, including President Bush's re-election campaign, said Ron O'Brien, Franklin County prosecutor.
