Republicans Admit to Mailing Campaign Literature Saying Liberals Will Ban the Bible

The GOP has admitted to mailings suggesting that liberals want to ban bibles. These mailings were sent to voters in Arkansas and West Virginia. Here's link to a New York Times article on this topic:

I can't imagine that too many people will be fooled by this. Even so, it's reprehensible. I know that politics is often a gutter sport, but must it be at the bottom of the gutter?
