The epidemic of Republican Memory Loss Syndrome (RMLS)continues apace. Key Republicans have all forgotten the same key fact.
GWB on 8/11 - "Russia has invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatens a democratic government elected by its people. Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century."
Condi Rice 8/18 - "But I just want to emphasize again, Russia is a state that is unfortunately using the one tool that it has always used, that will make it - that - when it wishes to deliver a message, and that's its military power. That's not the way to deal in the 21st century."
John McCain 8/13 - "In the 21st century, nations don't invade other nations."
Are these people confused about when the 21st century started? Do they believe that somehow, despite appearances, the US didn't invade Iraq? Or are they just confident that nobody in the press will call them on these ridiculous statements?
