World's largest snow woman

The world's largest snow woman was created in Bethel Maine this past weekend. I happened to be passing by with my panoramic camera gizmo.

There's a few partial cars in the lowest part, but overall the result was pretty good.

It's not actually a giant camera. It's essentially a robotic platform for positioning an ordinary digital camera. You show it where the upper right and lower left corner of your scene are and the robot positions the camera (and presses the shutter button. There's software for stitching all the photos together.

It gives the effect of a very detailed photo, but you do get artifacts from the stitcher and from things moving between frames.
