It's becoming increasingly clear to me that certain kinds of Republicans want to regulate the sex lives of others because they themselves cannot be trusted in that regard.

If I was making up a story about Republican scandal, setting in the Watergate hotel would be just too unbelievable. Reality, as it often does, has surpassed my imagination here.

A lobbyist, Brent Wilkes, has apparently arranged for "hospitality suites" to be available for certain Republican lawmakers at the Watergate hotel. This has been going on for up to 15 years. The FBI is investigating. And just to be clear, hospitality in this case did include prostitutes. Wilkes also was part of the recent Duke Cunningham scandals.

This scandal may include Porter Goss, the Bush crony who is currently trying to purge the CIA of Democrats. The owner of the limo company has reportedly received contracts from the Department of Homeland Security.
