Last night, inspired by the example of the Easter Turducken (thanks [livejournal.com profile] halleyscomet), I created a confectionry masterpiece. I inserted a standard issue Girl Scout Thin Mint cookie into the interior of a medium-stale yellow Peep. The result was transcendant, the apotheosis of Yum. Then, nearly (but not quite) overcome by my own brilliance, I did it again. The second experiment was also a success. This could be the perfect snack. It's got crunch, chew, chocolate, sugar, and empty calories (not to mention some artificial coloring).

I cannot emphasize enough the importance of the staleness of the Peep to the quality of the result. With a fresh Peep, the result would be, well, mooshy and pointless, rather like Abstract Impressionism. I suspect a fully-stale Peep, however, might be too much of a good thing. When new seasonal Peeps show up, further experiments are warranted.

Alas, so consumed was I by the creative process that I forgot to take any pictures.

Detractors may say that this is just an inside-out, discolored, overly-chewy, and off-flavor Malomar. They probably don't like Picasso (or plain Peeps) either. Such folk are, artisticly speaking, incapable of seeing the backs of their own heads. And we all know what that means...
