petardierePluribus Media is what I'll call an open-source journalism site that spun off from Daily Kos. They've put together a timeline of events before and after hurricane Katrina.
Each item is listed by date and title. A click on the title expands the entry to show a summary paragraph. At the end of the paragraph, there's a link to the origin of the article.

This is a really useful way of organizing information of this kind. I hope they consider doing something about the Bush administration's lies leading up to the Iraq war.
