Field Expedient Spice Rack, Mk2

Tired of having Penzey's mini spice jars all over your cupboards? Here's a quick and dirty solution. Take a 2 liter soda bottle and cut a hole near the top big enough to allow the mini jars to be taken in and out. I had to cut the top off so that it would fit the intended shelf. That's a pity since the top made a nice handle.

Note: this photo doesn't show it, but there are three spice jars per level, except for the top, for a total of 10 jars.

This may actually be the first photo I've taken where the flash made a huge (positive) difference in quality.
