Newt admits global warming is real
Apr. 11th, 2007 11:11 pmbut believes that tax breaks will be needed to cure it. As Dave Barry might say, I am not making this up. It happened in a debate with John Kerry. See here:

Is there any problem in the world that Republicans wouldn't try to solve with tax cuts?
Still Newt admits global warming is real (mostly) and admits the Republicans have failed to lead on this issue. He also calls for a green conservatism. It will be interesting to see if other Republicans join New or try to exorcise him.
Newt is a devious little weasel. I have to wonder if he's signing on just for political advantage.
