A curmudgeonly author spends time as a Bush campaign volunteer in Orlando.
I'm of two minds about this. It's a genuinely interesting article that provides true insight on how at least some republicans think. The author appeared to do his job without sabotaging the campaign. On the other hand, setting up a pretend interview to see who the Orlando campaign would find as a spokesman for black republicans strikes me as unethical. The result, however, was revealing. I'm also bothered by the final scene where the author stirs up the family he's eating dinner with by telling them made-up (I sincerely hope)horror stories from his fictitious job as a teacher.

I'd like to thank my sister Beth for pointing out this article.
