New cat news
We finally named our new cat. We narrowed it down to 3 choices and then asked her what she thought. She responded three times to Tatonka (Indian for buffalo, see the movie Dances with Wolves) so that's what we're calling her now. The other options were:
Karma - in case she wanted to run over somebody's dogma (no reaction)
Lin Yao - a more traditional oriental name (one tentative reaction)
The first photo is of Tatonka sitting on our cable modem and router. They're warm, you see.
The second is a special naming day serving of wet food. We've had her on dry food since she came here. She had a bit of trouble with the food we tried to switch her to, so we stayed with what she was used to. The wet food didn't last long. Despite the cape being from a famous local seafood place, the food was just chicken.
