Big Cat and Little Catapult

I'm back from the big Lotusphere convention and I finally have time to post these.




The lynx was having another photogenic day.




What can I say? I'm fond of siege engines large and small. In a week or two, I should have a slightly larger one to post. Perhaps some day I'll have an estate large enough that I can own and use something a bit larger.

Would you mind pointing Tamidon, who owns a castle-shaped cake pan, at the directions on how to make a posicle trebuchet? I know she really wants to make one so she can use it to fling whipped cream the next time she makes a castle cake!

I have one of these (http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodde.asp?SKU=453508), and lizo pointed me to your catapault since I intend someday to make 2 cakes, one chocolate and one plain, and use catapaults to lob marshmallows back and forth(and I had to tell feste_sylvain that he couldn't set them on fire first.
