I love cardinals. I loved them from the time I was 7 and living in a place (northern California) that never saw cardinals naturally.

Now that we've got a bird feeder up, we see him semi-regularly. Cardinals seem to be more skittish than many birds.

So pretty! it's like the extra compensation for it being cold and snowy that they look so bright.
