New Zealand Panoramics

I finally got around to installing Canon's Photostitch software so that I could put together some panoramics from New Zealand. Using Photostitch turned out to be a lot easier than I though. It even works if you haven't used the stitch tool to mark photos as part of a series as you took them.

Have a look:

Incredible photos! BTW, what is photostitch and where do you get a copy. I'd love to do this to some of my shots from Florence.

It's a program that came from Canon with my camera. I can loan you the disk if you want. It didn't seem to need any keys or require any registration. It probably works better/faster in conjunction with the camera's stitch mode, but it does well with overlapping photos that were not produced that way.

It even tries valiantly to match up photos that sort of overlap (same scene, differing viewpoints). I didn't post any of those results, but they were interesting.
