I'm back from the big Lotusphere convention and I finally have time to post these.




The lynx was having another photogenic day.




What can I say? I'm fond of siege engines large and small. In a week or two, I should have a slightly larger one to post. Perhaps some day I'll have an estate large enough that I can own and use something a bit larger.

I think our friends, whose cake provided the inspiration for building the trebuchet, have the identical pan.

BTW, why not launch flaming marshmallows? What an excellent way to ignite a flambe! Once you've worked with the trebuchet a bit, the trajectory is very consistent.
