Worried about the polls?

Here's a link from Daily Kos about how the poll numbers haven't really shifted in most polls since late July.

I've heard it said that much of the media aren't very careful with poll results. They appear to be more interested in presenting an exciting horserace than interpreting the numbers properly.

You might want to have a look at the Kerry 2004 electoral vote projection on this page. It's encouraging. Of course, he's got links to several other similar projections by others that are less so.

Swift boat veterans for enormous lies

Do you suspect that the swift boat veterans against Kerry are lying? Would you like the details on how and why without having to do all the footwork yourself? Here goes.

Here's one account by another swift boat skipper who was there. He broke a 35 year silence on the topic because he couldn't stand to hear the lying any longer.
